First of all, let me say sorry for that poor excuse of a portrait photo, I’m not photogenic at all and avoid those whenever I can.
With that being said let me introduce myself shortly. My name is Andreas and most of my friends either call me Andy or by my surname: Zingg.
Most of my leisure time is dedicated to sports, calisthenics in particular, reading and gaming. I love to challenge myself, mentally and physically, in order to overcome boundaries. Boundaries that are often set by ourselves, or rather our minds. Once you realize this and start to overcome those fears and insecurities, you stop holding yourself back from experiencing and achieving all the things you ever thought you could not.
Step by step. Things don’t get easier, you just get better at it. Which does not really help when you are an adrenaline junkie like me.
I never really thought I was particularly good at something, until I understood that I learn faster than others. Jup, I’m that guy in class that everyone hates because he does the bare minimum and never studies, but gets good grades anyway. If there is an easy way to do it, I will find it. People always tell me there will come a time when I will fail hard because of this. The more I heard that the more I challenged it, but till this day nothing ever went terribly wrong. In fact, I would say that I’m doing quite well, currently working part time for a bank in Zurich besides studying economics. Despite all those obligations, or exactly because of them, I’d like to experience something new, something exciting.
I never traveled a lot, but I figured that now is the time to change that 😉
Gooooood morning Australia!
I can’t wait to explore all your hidden places, all those dive sites, all those different colours, all those different mentalities, all those people and all those stories that are hidden in plain sight. It is scary to leave my comfort zone, but in the end it will be all worth it. Well at least that’s what I’m being told.
I hope I will see you around! Hit me up with a question if you want to know more about me, and who knows, we might share a drink or a story sometimes soon.
